Hardware

DJI Matrice 4 Series enterprise drones

Purpose-built for aerial surveying and mapping. RTK positioning and a mechanical-shutter camera deliver distortion-free imagery for reliable, repeatable photogrammetry.

Matrice 4E · Mapping

The surveying workhorse

Wide, medium-tele and tele cameras with a mechanical shutter for high-overlap mapping missions.

  • Mechanical shutter — no motion distortion at speed
  • RTK module for centimetre-level absolute accuracy
  • Extended flight endurance for large-area coverage
  • Laser rangefinder & omnidirectional obstacle sensing
Matrice 4T · Thermal

Mapping + inspection

Everything the 4E offers, plus an infrared thermal sensor and wide-tele zoom for inspection, night operations and search-and-rescue.

  • Radiometric thermal imaging
  • Long-range zoom for detail capture
  • RTK + mechanical shutter, same as 4E
  • Spotlight & night-capable payload
Software

WebODM photogrammetry engine

Drone imagery in, professional geospatial products out — processed on our own secure server, with multi-user access for your teams and clients.

Orthomosaics

Georeferenced, orthorectified aerial maps ready for measurement, overlay and digitising.

Elevation models

Georeferenced digital elevation models — Digital Surface & Terrain Models (DSM/DTM).

Point clouds & 3D

Filtered, classified dense point clouds and textured 3D models in .OBJ and OGC 3D Tiles.

Measurements

Make volume and area measurements with ease — track stockpiles and earthworks.

Plant health

Compute NDVI, VARI, GNDVI and other vegetation indexes for crop and land-cover analysis.

Contours

Preview and export elevation contours to AutoCAD, ShapeFile and GeoPackage.

GCP & RTK accuracy

Create and use Ground Control Points, and combine RTK for survey-grade positioning.

Any camera, any format

Standard, fisheye, 360° and multispectral cameras; JPG & TIFF, nadir or oblique.

Open exports

GeoTIFF, LAS/LAZ and vector layers that drop straight into QGIS and CAD/cadastre tools.

ILG mapping

Digitise customary land for Incorporated Land Groups

Built around the realities of customary land in PNG — turn aerial surveys into accurate, defensible boundary records that support ILG registration and land-use planning.

  • Boundary capture — trace clan and parcel boundaries over centimetre-accurate orthophotos.
  • Parcel & sub-parcel digitising — attribute each area with landowner group, usage and notes.
  • ILG registration support — export maps and area schedules for land group documentation.
  • Ground-truthed — combine RTK/GCP survey points with field verification for accuracy.

How it works

From flight to ILG map in five steps

A repeatable field-to-office workflow your surveyors and digitising teams follow for every project.

Fly & capture

Plan an RTK mapping mission over the customary land and fly the DJI Matrice 4.

Upload

Bring the geotagged imagery into your project on the platform.

Process

WebODM builds the orthophoto, elevation models and point cloud.

Digitise

Trace ILG boundaries and parcels; attribute landowner groups.

Export

Deliver maps, area schedules and GIS layers for registration.

Your first project — step by step

  1. Log in with the account your administrator created for you.
  2. Create a project and give it the land / ILG name.
  3. Add a task and drag in your geotagged drone images (JPG/TIFF).
  4. Pick a processing preset — use split-merge for large image sets.
  5. Start processing and watch progress in the task console.
  6. Review outputs — orthophoto, DSM/DTM, point cloud, 3D model.
  7. Digitise & measure boundaries, parcels, areas and volumes.
  8. Export GeoTIFF, contours, and vector layers for ILG records.
Onboarding

Getting started is quick

WebODM runs entirely on our own secure server — no software to install on your laptop. You work in the browser: upload imagery, process, then view and download professional geospatial products. Larger surveys can run as multiple jobs in parallel.

  • Nothing to install — fully browser-based, accessible to your whole team.
  • Multi-user & sharing — per-team and per-client access with role separation.
  • Scales with you — run multiple jobs in parallel as your workload grows.
Ready when you are
